Matthew Zelenin is a pianist, keyboardist, vocalist, and studio musician based in Austin, Texas. Classically trained from an early age, he competed internationally and performed at venues including Carnegie Hall. Now active throughout Central Texas, Zelenin performs as a soloist, with his jazz trio, and alongside a variety of ensembles and singer-songwriters. He recently premiered a program of original compositions and reimagined standards at San Antonio’s River Sun Jazz Club and frequently performs at Austin venues including the Elephant Room and Monk’s Jazz Club. His collaborators include jazz musicians Bobby Noble and Drew Simpson, as well as singer-songwriters Jessica Healey, Brandon Alan, and Eric Bowden.
